Privacy

What Wjourney collects, and what it never does.

No account, no cookies

You do not need to sign in. Wjourney sets no tracking cookies. Your language, saved route and similar settings stay on your own device.

Your location

If you allow it, your position is used in your browser to show nearby places and to make chat answers local. It is sent only together with a chat question, rounded to about 100 metres. We do not store or log it.

Questions, translations and photos

Your chat questions, texts to translate and photos you scan are sent to an AI service (Google Gemini) only to produce the answer. Wjourney does not keep them, and they are never sent to our analytics.

Anonymous usage statistics

To learn which pages and features are useful, we count anonymous events such as page views, "a route was built" or "the chat was used", with the language, device type and country. It uses a random identifier stored on your device, not your name or email. The statistics are processed by PostHog. We honour the browser's Do Not Track setting: if it is on, nothing is counted.
